The Kiqui are a humanoid species native to the planet Kithrup.
They are divided into five different subspecies which evolved in separate areas on the planet Kithrup. Several blood conflict between the subspecies nearly led to their decimation, though conquering the large predators of their planet led to their unity. Several religions exist on their homeworld, including one who worships their sun. In the 1800's, they discovered a Synril outpost of their homeworld, which eventually led to their discovery of FTL travel.
Following contact with the Terran Federation, several Kiqui chose to leave their homeworld following devastating solar flares.
